Naruto-X Intro

This story is dedicated to my friend, Jag-Queen, who is like a sister to me in real life. I'm going to college soon and, probably, if it wasn't for some of her talks, I might have suffered from depression due to the teasing and mocking I suffered due to my Autism.  This story is Naruto-centric, but I'm using a lot of elements from the Show Sonic X...I guess you could call it a...crossover?

This story has her favorite Naruto pairings. Don't like it? No one is forcing you to read. It's not nice to post negative comments over stupid opinions. It just leads to conflicts later on.

As I write, I'll try to add my own flair to the story. I'll also include some philosophy, as life is full of mystery.

Intro
The Kyuubi no Yoko. Known all over simply as the nine-tailed fox. This mighty demon was suffering from a major problem…..he was dying. There had been a conflict between him and the eight and two tails over territory. His chakra reserves had been drained to absolute zero when he fought off both beasts at once. The effects were even more hazardous due to the fact its body was created out of its chakra. Without its chakra to keep its body running, it was dying. However, the Kyuubi was not afraid. He knew there would be another nine-tails to rise up and take his place. The first three-tails had been a shark. It had died, and now a turtle took its place. The original four, five, six, seven, and even eight tails had died as well. They had been a rooster-lizard hybrid, a wolf, a weasel, a badger, and a snake. Their replacements were an ape, a dolphin-horse hybrid, a slug, a rhinoceros beetle, and an ox-beast. The Kyuubi smirked as it lay, dying. Using the last of his energy, it sent its chakra throughout the galaxy using an advanced teleportation technique to locate the nearest multi-tailed fox. If it was going down, it would at least be replaced by a fox. Chuckling evilly, the Kyuubi closed his eyes and died peacefully, its body turning into ash.

1st person pov
They say miracles only happen to people once. I'm sorry. Let me introduce myself. My name is Miles Prower….yeah yeah. Laugh it up. I get the whole "miles per hour" joke. I'm known to my friends simply as Tails. This was due to a birth defect leaving me, a young, orphaned fox, with two tails. I don't even know how, but I can fly by spinning my tails as propellers. Yes, I know this defies the laws of physics. Right now, I'm not in the greatest of moods. The love of my life, Cosmo the Seedrian, had sacrificed herself three years ago to stop an evil robot group known as the Metarex. Maybe I should have believed that gypsy when she predicted that I would fall in love with a plant, as Seedrians are a plant-like alien race. Yes, I've heard the old saying that "time heals all wounds". Being sent from one adventure to the next also takes your mind off a lot of things. Still…..she invades my thoughts when I least expect them. Shadow survived, how, I had no clue. I guess his title of "Ultimate Life-Form" is nothing to scoff at. The biggest surprise was that he recovered his memories during the three years. He also apologized for his attacks on us. It wasn't entirely his fault. I mean, he DID lose ALL of his memories and his only clue (at least, until the "Black Arms" incident) to regaining them lied with our enemy, Dr. Eggman. Shadow says that he can feel Cosmo within the plant that grew out of the white seed Sonic retrieved….all that was left of Cosmo when Sonic and Shadow attempted to use Chaos Regeneration. Shadow himself was happily dating. Now, before you start shouting things about Rouge, or Shade, or Blaze, or whomever, listen to me. Surprisingly enough, it was Cosmo's older sister, Galaxina, that got Shadow's attention. Apparently Galaxina had escaped before the Metarex had completely destroyed their race's space ship.  She ended up in a coma for a month from the impact when her escape pod crash landed on a nearby planet. Now, with her escape pod destroyed, she had no way off the planet or sending a distress cry. Shadow had used Chaos Control to contain the blast of Dark Oak….along with Cosmo, being destroyed, but ended up teleporting onto the planet Galaxina was stranded on. Come to think of it, Galaxina mentioned something about a "seed of rebirth" Seedrians could use to recover from life-threatening injuries….if they're fast enough. Maybe Cosmo managed to transform into the seed of rebirth. I'm keeping my hopes down, though. Miracles only happen to people once. My miracle happened when I met my brother-figure, Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm not sure about what to think about myths and legends as well. I'm a mechanical genius, not a philosopher. Also, according to Amy Rose's "Mythical Predictions", I'm supposed to transform into a Kyuubi, a nine-tailed fox. Fat chance. As if I could grow seven more tails!

3rd person pov
"It is time" Galaxina, a Seedrian with a large flower on top of her long blue hair said. She had purple eyes and a blue and white dress with gold trimmings and a green amulet on the chest of the dress. Right after she said that, the giant sakura tree that had grown from the seed, started glowing. Shadow, Tails, and Sonic stared at in awe. Pink flower petals flew into the wind and swirled around the light. When it died down, a figure stood there. She had long green hair and pink roses that had blossomed on each side of her head. She had a green and white dress with gold trimmings and a red amulet in the chest of the dress. She opened her sea-blue eyes and said only one word. Her first word in three years. "Tails" Tears of joy fell down Tails' cheeks as he ran to embrace her . "COSMO!" He shouted. "I promise Tails…I won't leave you like that again. Ever." Cosmo said as Tails tearfully embraced her. Galaxina gently nudged Shadow in the ribs. He got her message. It was time to leave the two reunited "love birds" alone. A red wisp got Shadow's attention as he turned to leave. "Look out!" Shadow shouted. Tails turned just in time for the energy to flow into his chest. The last thing he heard before he blacked out was everyone screaming his name.

Tails gasped as he woke up. Glancing at the clock in his room, he saw that four hours had passed. "Wait. How did I get into my room." "I brought you here…with Sonic's help." A voice said. Tails turned to see Cosmo walking in carrying a tray of tea. "Here drink this." Cosmo said, giving him a cup of tea. Thanking her, Tails began to drink slowly. Tails noticed that the couch he had been laying on had blood on it. "What happened?" Tails asked himself. "You grew more tails" Cosmo said. Tails spat out the tea in shock. "WHAT?!" Jumping to his feet, Tails immediately regretted his action when his body groaned in pain to protest the sudden movement.  Wasting no time, Miles Prower glanced at his tails. They had grown longer, that was for sure. Also, there were definitely more tails then before. His gloves had gotten torn. Apparently Sonic was in too much of a rush to notice the nail sticking out of the wall. Taking off the ruined clothing, Tails admired his new, sharp claws. "I was right!" A voice screamed. Tails knew that voice. Amy Rose. "Tails is a kyuubi!" She cheered, "That's 20 rings you owe me, Shadow!" Shadow "humphed" and tossed Amy the rings. Tails, staggered outside, clutching his head. Knowledge of strange beasts, a different world, and amazing techniques filled entered his brain. Tails noticed that many of the people there were ninja. "Espio would love it there" Tails muttered. Testing out an idea, Tails released a wall of red energy. Cosmo, who had been next to him, leaped back in surprise.

Unbeknownst to the group, a figure was watching them from a tree branch. He wore a black cloak and had messy black hair. He wore a white mask with black, flame-like markings on it. There was only one opening, and that was for the right eye. The cloak had armor plating on the shoulders and hips. He had this weird fan-like, gourd-shaped, giant kusarigama strapped to his back. "My plans WILL come to fruition!" The man said in a sinister voice, "The destruction of the leaf village by MY power….the power of Uchiha Madara!" A strange eye appeared to be glowing where the opening was for his right eye. The eye was blood-red with a circle around the pupil. Three raindrop-shaped markings slowly spun around the pupil. "I must admit, I was worried about my plan when the first Kyuubi suddenly died" The man-referring to himself as Madara-said, "However, I was lucky to have tracked the remnants of its chakra to the NEW Kyuubi no Yoko!  Now…..I can use that beast like a puppet to destroy my former home.  With my eyes, even the MIGHTIEST of the Tailed Beasts is forced to follow my will!" With that, Madara started laughing evilly. After laughing for a minute, Madara leaped up and disappeared into a black vortex, a highly advanced, space-time teleportation technique he created. Not even a hair was left to hint that someone had been there.
