"(Retrieve the dog tags and helmets from the NOBLE Team Spartans?)" Ross asked. "(Hey guys!)" Vincent said, "(Check it out. There's a cave!)" Shrugging, the group entered the cave.

Using Veruka's flames to light the cave…as well as the flashlights on the Spartans' helmets, the group explored the cave. "(I wonder if there's anyone here.)" Vincent said out loud, "(HELLO!)" He yelled, receiving a "hello" from the echo. "(There's someone here!)" Vincent whispered excitedly, "(HOW ARE YOU?)" Only to receive the same echo. "(I ASKED YOU FIRST!)" Vincent shouted again. The Pokémon face-palmed at Vincent's stupidity. "(OH THAT'S REALLY WHAT YOU'RE SAYING, EXACTLY WHAT I'M SAYING!)" Ross sighed and shook his head as Vincent looked around him after receiving the echo. "(I'M AN IDIOT!)" He yelled. "(Understatement of the century)" Veruka muttered, but everyone was surprised when the echo shouted "YOU'RE AN IDIOT!" Vincent looked insulted. "(Fine!)" He whispered, "(I'm not talking to you anymore. In fact, I'm going to whisper so that by the time my voice reverberates off the walls and gets back to me, I won't be able to hear you.)" Vincent looked smug; until he heard an echoed "YOU'RE AN IDIOT!"

AT THE RANCH:
Danny was testing out a device that he had purchased at R.G.B's travelling shop. He was in a rocket sled, but was testing the engine first. "(If this works, our life of crime will be made easier!)" Danny said, grinning with a football helmet on. "(Hit it Merry!)" Danny said. "(On it Mr. D!)" Merry said, pressing the "GO" button, and Danny ended up crashing face-first into the wall. He stumbled out and lifted up his head. "(Air bags are a little slow.)" He said, to which the air bags of the device went off. "(But that's what these tests are for!)"

Ross sat down and looked at the dog tags he found. They had belonged to NOBLE-1, or the leader of NOBLE Team. "(Everything I have now….could have been ended at an instant at any time during the war…)" Ross murmured. "(Don't worry dear.)"Saria said, wrapping one of her front legs around his shoulders and holding him close to her, "(You're here. That's all that matters. Besides, I don't want ANY sad faces at Christmas!)"
